What a learning curve this little chappy was! The big discovery was that slabs 'warp' during firing and that next time I would have the front feet separate from the slab part...more stand alone from the body....to provide more support. Despite this, I am still using the 'doggy ends' to support my sketchbooks in the studio and they are working well. I am looking forward to making more soon.
